The Coastal Solutions Fellows (CSF) Program builds and supports an international and multidisciplinary community to design and implement collaborative solutions that address real world coastal challenges across the Pacific Americas Flyway. Our main goal is to conserve coastal habitats and shorebird populations by:
- Fostering collaborations among scientists, conservationists, planners, architects, and engineers; and
- Building the knowledge, resources and skills of Latin American professionals across these sectors.
The CSF Program is a collaboration between the David & Lucile Packard Foundation and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology at Cornell University. Through their Oceans Program, the Packard Foundation is working to strengthen shorebird populations by building capacity along the Pacific Americas Flyway. The Coastal Fellows Program is managed by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, a leading center for integrated research, training, public outreach, and conservation of birds and biodiversity.
